HTC Vive and Tilt Brush wins the 2015 Unity Award for Best VR Experience
HTC Vive is a virtual reality headset developed by HTC in collaboration with Valve. HTC Vive uses 70 sensors and two 1200 x 1080 screens, one per eye and has a refresh rate of 90 Hz, requiring content to be rendered at 90 frames per second.
Tilt Brush by Google a Virtual Reality Tool that paints the space around you has won the best VR experience with the HTC Vive. With Tilt Brush one can Paint thick, three-dimensional brush strokes, smoke, stars even light using this technology.
The Tilt was Nominated for four Proto Awards including Best Interaction Design, Most Innovative, and Best Overall Virtual Reality Application. The Tilt finally was the Winner of the Best GUI.
Three of the six finalists at the Unity Awards were Vive experiences namely Tilt Brush, Job Simulator, and The Gallery.
