HTC Desire 10 Pro and 10 evo announced in India

Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer HTC announced it’s new addition to Desire family, the Desire 10 Pro an upgrade to their budget-centric Desire 10 Lifestyle launched two months back in September 2016. Desire 10 Pro is priced at Rs. 26,490 and will be available for sale in retail outlets by mid-December in two colour themes: Stone Black and Polar White. The HTC Desire 10 pro looks elegant in matte finish with metallic gold contour.

image011The HTC Desire 10 pro comes with 5.5” Full HD (1080p) display, MediaTek Helio P10 octa-core processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage along with SD card support for up to 2TB of expandable memory, fingerprint sensor on back, 20MP main camera with Laser Auto Focus, Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) and Auto HDR on both the front and rear camera, 13MP selfie camera with new 150° Selfie Panorama mode for capturing extreme wide-angle selfies and 3,000mAh battery.


Along with Desire 10 pro, HTC also unveiled the HTC 10 evo with world’s first USB Type-C dual adaptive earphones that tailor the sound to ears’ unique hearing abilities. HTC 10 evo also features an all-metal unibody with

image006 an IP57 water and dust resistant rating, 5.5-inch QHD display with Gorilla Glass 5 protection, Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage along with SD card support, front fingerprint sensor, 16MP main camera with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization), Phase Detection Auto Focus and also features Pro mode, 8MP front camera  Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box with features split-screen view, quicker multitasking, new security settings. It is powered by 3,200mAh battery and supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0.

Speaking at the launch, Mr. Faisal Siddiqui, President-South Asia, HTC said, “The Desire 10 pro is inspired by many of the same innovations that have made the flagship HTC 10 so popular making it the most brilliant Desire ever. The HTC 10 evo also showcases the same focus on driving evolution of smartphones especially in terms of audio technology.”

HTC 10 evo is expected to be available by the end of December. However, there is no word on the pricing yet and is expected to be revealed at a later date.
