Vivo V5 20MP selfie centric flagship announced at Rs. 17,980
Chinese smartphone brand Vivo today at an event in Mumbai announced it’s selfie-centric flagship Vivo V5. The main highlight of Vivo V5 is it’s 20MP f/2.0 front-facing selfie camera with Moonlight Glow flash. Moonlight Glow feature induces a natural glow on the face without straining eyes that lights up the picture irrespective of the lighting conditions. Vivo claims this feature will allow users to capture every frame perfectly without making them grainy, distorted or flooded with hard flash.
Vivo V5 offers front fingerprint sensor that unlocks the phone in just 0.2 seconds. On the specs front, Vivo V5 comes with 5.5 inch HD IPS display and 2.5D Corning gorilla glass, 4GB RAM, 1.5GHz octa-core processor, 32GB inbuilt storage (expandable up to 128 GB via microSD card), 13MP main camera with PDAF, Hi-Fi Music using custom-made AK4376 dedicated Hi-Fi audio chip and 3,000 mAh battery. Vivo V5 runs on Funtouch 2.6 OS based on Android 6.0
Vivo V5 also comes with features like Eye Protection Mode that filters out blue light to protect vision and prevents eye strain, Smart Split 2.0 split screen multitasking, Face Beauty Mode 6.0 etc. Sensors include Accelerometer, Ambient Light Sensor, Proximity sensor and E-compass. Vivo V5 supports USB, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and OTG connectivity options.

Vivo V5 is priced at Rs. 17,980 and will be available in Crown Gold and Grey colours starting November 26th. Vivo also announced that V5 Plus with dual front camera would be coming soon.
